What are the Healthy Homes Standards and how can Mori Electrical help you meet them?
Heatpumps (Living Room)
The main or largest room needs to have an approved fixed wall heater capable of heating the room to a minimum of 18 degrees, this will be in most cases an electric heater or heat pump. There must also be windows, doors or a skylight that can be fixed open and are more than 5% of the floor area, and must be no noticeable draughts.
Ventilation (Kitchen and Bathrooms)
All kitchens and bathrooms must have extractor fans that are vented to the outside.
The kitchen needs to have ducts of at least a 150mm diameter, must have windows, doors or a skylight that can be fixed open and are more than 5% of the floor area, and must be no noticeable draughts.
The bathrooms must have ducts of at least 120mm and no noticeable draughts.
